Use Gmail Filters to Prevent Emails Marked As Spam

How to use gmail filters to prevent ImprovMX emails being marked as spam.

Sometimes Gmail can be overzealous in marking emails as spam. This can result in emails from newly setup ImprovMX domains being sent to the spam folder. This guide shows you how to set Gmail filters to prevent that from happening.

In the Gmail web interface, click the Show search options icon at the right hand side of the search bar.

In the dropdown, enter the alias you are forwarding in the To: field, then click Create filter.

In the next step, check the Never send it to Spam tickbox, then click Create filter.

That's it! Any messages arriving at your Gmail mailbox that have been forwarded via your ImprovMX alias will never be marked as spam.
